Between HeVan and Hell is an action packed adventure from the first page to the last. The story line is interesting and Lucy Kelly manages to bring a complex plot filled with vivid characters to life. The addition of interesting secondary characters opens the door for future books. The plot is a unique twist where some women on Earth find they are more than they seem and the men from HeVan are very hot to handle. With numerous twists and turns, the ending makes you impatient for a little HeVan of your own.
Lucy Kelly has once again kept my intrest through the whole story. Nothe every book can do that, and I mean I'm picky !! If you like we'll written characters, Sci fi with a truly realistic bent, than this is the series for you. I won book 1 HeVan Sent in a contest, and took my time before starting it, not was I stupid !! It was one of the best books of this genre I'd ever read and book 2, is even better !! Scroll up and hit "Buy" , you will definitely like it !! But make sure you've read HeVan Sent 1st, these need to be read in order
This is Grace's story and it held my attention as much if not more than book 1. Grace is undercover at a casino going after some seriously bad dudes and when asked about her fiance (part of her cover story) she ends up describing on the men that are on Earth from HeVan and part of the guard for her sister Addie. Turns out he and his brother are her mates and end up helping her with her case, gotta love having a friend who can make it seem that they're actually cops from overseas so no-one is any wiser.
The question now is will she give up everything she's worked for and wanted and go to HeVan to be with her mates or will she stay on Earth? But either decision is contingent on her surviving her assignment. The story keeps getting better and the characters from the 1st book are part of this story also. Highly recommend this series but you must read them in order in my opinion.

I absolutely loved it. I've been reading the books in order and I thoroughly enjoy them. Absolutely love the characters.
This book gets into the plot more quickly then the first book did and moves faster. The new characters are more dveloped and the old characters are deepened. We are learning more about the planet HeVan and the problems the women from earth will face there. It is an exciting detective story and a story about the urge to pioneer. It gave a satissfying ending and didn't end with a cliff hanger as the first book did but it still left me anxious to read book 3.
This story is not bad, but it has random details thrown in and some scenes are described unnecessarily in minute detail. The plot was good and the characters are likable. It could use work in giving you a good story without trudging threw so much crap to get to it.
